\"OrganizeIn my previous article<\/a> I have highlighted a list of priority checks that we, as the “Web Designer”,\u00a0will be required to perform prior to set a customer website live.\u00a0Now that we\u00a0have already marked “OK” all this tasks on our clipboard we\u00a0will feel more confident to start thinking at a proper launch and a series of events that will create a \u201cmomentum\u201d all around our newly designed web site.<\/p>\n

Below are some ideas and suggestions that I have gathered during my experience in designing websites for clients and to previous website launches I was personally involved to.<\/p>\n

The following is an example of a series of Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing activities and actions I have presented to the board of directors at one of my meetings with TUBe Thailand from the launch of their new eCommerce website.
\nLet me give you a few details of who they are and what they do.<\/p>\n

TUBe<\/a> Thailand is a nonprofit organization and is linked to the Raintree Foundation<\/a> which is another Charity Organization with its roots in Germany, (under Thai Care<\/a>), and Thailand.
\nAs stated from their web site, \u201cThe main purpose of Thai Care e. V. is to promote our projects in Thailand, manage volunteers and to administrate the foster children program. Basically we are the same organization in two different countries<\/em>\u201d. Both Charities have their Thai Headquarters in a building located near Saraphi in the outskirts of Chiang Mai. Tube laboratory are located in the mountains villages.
\nTUBe are bags made of recycled bicycle inner tubes and are handmade by Hill Tribe Women. All the income from the sales of the bags goes towards the remuneration of the Hill Tribe Workers.<\/p>\n

I was hired by the TUBe management to design<\/a> and develop their eCommerce first and to help to organize the launch in a later stage.<\/p>\n
