The R-5150 is an amazing shaver, to be honest my older Remington, (which last me for more than a decade), was heavy, bulky and made quite some noise, however the quality of shaving was good.
In time its blades were consumed at a point that would try to pull the hairs rather than cutting them. I wanted another Remington as my old one had done a great job so I started carefully searching online and reading reviews from other shoppers then finally selected this model.
I can’t remember if I bought it on Amazon, eBay, Argos or who knows what other online retailer but I remember the price was less than $50 so it looked like a great bargain.
To my surprise it was a very light pack when it arrived through the post, I was also very suspicious when I opened the box and found this amazingly light shaver, (at least compared to my older one).
Another thing I was not very fancying it was its plasticky look and feel. Gone were the line of steel and the robust feel of my older one.
This one really looked cheap.
Following the instructions from the manual I charged the battery for about 90 minutes and gave it a try . Wow, this was very quiet and despite its cheap look, it was comfortable to hold as it is so light, also it gives you a perfect shave.
Remington did a great shaver and I was happy to have it. Its charge lasts for about a week of shavings, (5 shaves…no shaves on weekends..:) contrarily to my old one this can be washed completely and the blades are so easy to remove.
I am very satisfied about this shaver, It is a must for all my travels and for every day use.
