Watch Face Design: Just when you think is all over, here we are again with the fourth watch face design of our mini series. Again if you are new to this blog and you want to check the previous episodes here is the link for the other Watch Faces.
As for all the other designs, if you own any of the watches below mentioned, this design comes in a zip archive with all the xml and other files so that if you know the “how to’s” you can install it onto your watch in a matter of minutes. Also this design is for a round watch of 450×450 (400×400 will do it too). The WatchME is a special Edition dedicated to the WordPress Plugins Podcast WP Plugin A to Z, so if you are a fan of that Podcast and you have one of the latest Android 7.1 / 9 / 10 go ahead and install it in a minute, as that is how long it will take to get this Watch Face installed. Below is a list of compatible watches. Bear in mind that there is more watches but I can’t just know from the tip of my hat all the makes and models…so the rule of thumb is: If your watch runs the full Android 5.1 onward there is 99% chances that is compatible. And by the way, this face will adapt also to those who have a rectangular watch, is just that it won’t be as “full” as the round one.

There might be some more so if you have round Android Smart Watch that uses Android 5, Android 7 or the latest Android 10, chances are that it will work for you.
The watch face has the following functional features:
- Analog time ”hour,min, sec”
This time is a very simple but effective watch, nothing else than telling the time!
As mentioned already all the files are included in the zip, so for you, if you have already messed with watch faces on an Android watches, it will be really a matter of a minute to have it installed.
As a bonus, you can find in the archive a copy of the open source software I have used for the design (WatchFaceDesigner.jar) so if you like to spend some time and fiddle with it, you are welcome to do so.
Here is how to install this watch face in a few steps:
- extract the downloaded zip archive in a folder in your PC
- create A “clockskin” folder on your watch (if you don’t already have it)
- copy extracted file to your watch in the “clockskin” Folder
- refresh your watch faces
